Dartford retain joint-managers Adam Flanagan and Jamie Coyle: Following on from Tony Burman was never going to be easy but Adam and Jamie are committed to achieving this and to this club wholeheartedly
DARTFORD have announced that joint-managers Adam Flanagan and Jamie Coyle will remain in charge next season.
The Darts finished their campaign in tenth-place in the Vanarama National League South, banking 64 points from their 42 league outings and finishing just a couple of points shy of the play-off places.
There was a board meeting on Monday and the club issued the following statement to confirm the pair will be in charge at Princes Park for a second season.
“The board can confirm that Adam Flanagan and Jamie Coyle will continue in the role and were keen to start preparing for next season,” said a club statement, which was posted on www.dartfordfc.com.
“We all acknowledged the disappointing end to the season but a top half finish and being only marginally outside the play-offs, was not far away from where we expected to be in such a transitional season.
“Following on from Tony Burman was never going to be easy but Adam and Jamie are committed to achieving this and to this club wholeheartedly.
“With a revised budget giving them a little more flexibility, new player targets were discussed and a busy summer of player recruitment can be expected.
“Season tickets will go on sale on 13 May and we are delighted to announce that prices have been frozen for a further season, as well as admission at the turnstiles.
“News on player comings and going will be announced over the coming weeks.”
