Daish adds Quinn to his depleted squad

Gravesend and Northfleet manager Liam Daish says despite their full-time status he knows they will have a small budget by Conference standards.

Daish told BBC Radio Kent: "Eleven players have left since last season but I don't think that's a problem.

"Some players I wanted to keep like Andy Drury and Jay Saunders but could not get them on full-time contracts.

"I'm working on a tight budget, it will be one of the bottom six budgets in the league, so I've got to use it wisely."

Meanwhile, Daish has today added former Stevenage Borough midfielder Rob Quinn to his depleted squad.

The 29-year-old, who hails from Sidcup, left Stevenage at the end of last season, and has had previous league experience with Bristol Rovers, Oxford United, Brentford and Crystal Palace.
