Cup holders Ramsgate handed home Kent derby

HOLDERS Ramsgate face Kent opposition in the second round of the Ryman League Cup competition, which gets underway, for our sides, next month, writes Stephen McCartney.

The Rams, who needed penalties to defeat AFC Sudbury in last season’s final, after the game at Princes Park finished goalless after extra time, welcome Chatham Town at the first stage of this season’s competition.

There are a total number of four Kent derbies at this stage of the competition.
