Today’s top-of-the-table clash in the Southern Counties East Football League Premier Division passed a 10 o’clock pitch inspection but rain fell during the build-up to the game and match referee Matthew Pollington deemed correctly that the pitch was waterlogged and called the game off 80 minutes before the scheduled kick-off.

The League has decided to extend the season and this game has been re-scheduled for Monday 30 April, as has Lordswood's home game against third-placed Whitstable Town, which also fell victim to a waterlogged pitch today.
