Cray Wanderers celebrate the life of former coach Wally Hill, who sadly passed away over Christmas, aged 87

CRAY WANDERERS are celebrating the life of one of their former coaches, who sadly passed away on Christmas Eve, aged 87.

Wally Hill was first-team coach at the club between 1979-81 and also managed Swanley Town, Alma Swanley and Crockenhill.

The event is taking place inside the Ravens Bar at Bromley FC at Hayes Lane between 15:00-21:00 today, Wednesday 1 February 2023.

“There will only be a private funeral but a celebration of Wally’s life and will be a great send off for supporters, players and acquaintances for this incredible gentleman and a great part of the Wands’ rich history,” said a statement from the Isthmian League Premier Division club.
