CRAY VALLEY manager Paul Gross has unveiled his second summer signing.

Gross, who takes charge of the club from Steve Chapman, has unveiled the arrival of attacking midfielder Aaron Jeffrey from their Southern Counties East Football League rivals, and tenants, Erith Town.

Jeffrey scored 18 goals for the Dockers last season following spells at Phoenix Sports, Holmesdale, Fisher, Beckenham Town and Erith & Belvedere.

Gross said: “As I stated last week, there are a number of players that I am looking to add to the squad and Aaron is another target that I am delighted has agreed to join us.

“I know that a number of clubs were looking at Aaron but we had another long chat after training last night and he decided to put pen to paper straight away.

“Aaron will give us a goal threat from midfield which the club didn’t really have last season and I’m sure he’ll be a great addition for us.”

The Millers’ first arrival was versatile defender Tommy Osborn, who finished last season playing Ryman League Division One South football at Hythe Town.

Meanwhile, the Millers’ begin their pre-season campaign with an away game against Bromley-based Kent Invicta League side Glebe on Saturday, 5 July.
