Bromley striker signs for Nottingham Forest
BROMLEY striker Garath McCleary, 20, has signed for Nottingham Forest for an undisclosed fee after impressing during a recent trial with the Coca Cola League One giants.
As part of the deal agreed between the two clubs there will also be a sell-on clause included and a pre-season friendly at Hayes Lane on a date to be announced.
A statement issued by the Blue Square South club said: “The club would like to wish Garath every success as he embarks on a career in the full-time game.”
McCleary made 42 appearances for the club, scoring 11 goals, after joining from Slough Town last year and has also played for Oxford City and the England Colleges under 19’s.
Bromley travel to Hampton & Richmond Borough on Saturday - the two sides that clinched promotion from the Ryman Premier League last season.
