BROMLEY are delighted to announce that a new investment group of four supporters have agreed to back the club.

Represented by Rob Kay, the group have agreed to back the Conference South club to continue to improve their facilities at Hayes Lane to include a new indoor sports hall and a new 124-space car park.

“We believe the new investment will enable the club to continue its progress whilst also maintaining robust financial stability,” said a club statement.

As part of this transition, Jerry Dolke has resumed the role of chairman, replacing current co-chairmen Derek and Ashley Reading.

“Also acting as managing director, he will oversee the ongoing affairs of Bromley FC and Bromley Arena.

“We wish to thank Derek and Ashley for all their efforts during their tenure.

“All negotiations have been incredibly amicable and both Derek and Ashley remain avid supporters of Bromley FC and wish everyone involved all the success the club richly deserves.”

On the pitch, manager Mark Goldberg can lead the club towards their first league title in 54 years’ should they win their last three Vanarama Conference South games of the season.

Over Easter, the club defeated Boreham Wood 2-1 in front of 2,035 fans at Hayes Lane to return to the top of the table, but came away from Maidenhead United with a thrilling 4-4 draw on Easter Monday, which saw them slip back to second-place, level on 71 points with Boreham Wood, who have two league left to play.

But Bromley must-win their next two home games, against Eastbourne Borough tomorrow and Weston-super-Mare (18 April), to travel to Gosport Borough on the last day of the season, hopefully celebrating promotion to the top flight of non-league football for the first time in their history, which will be rebranded the Vanarama National League next season.
