Bromley agree ten-year deal for Crystal Palace Ladies side to play at Hayes Lane
The joint venture is something that the Vanarama Conference South club are extremely excited about as they continue to build relationships with key partners.
The Eagles are in The FA Women’s Premier League South East Division – one tier lower than Charlton Athletic and Gillingham and two below the Super League 2 – having won promotion last season.
A Bromley statement said: “Palace Ladies, who have 17 other teams across various age groups, will also train on the brand new 4G pitches upon completion in September, while the new partnership will also look to develop our current Bromley Ladies team as a partner club, with the club’s aiming to loan and dual-register players between the two clubs, while Place Ladies coaches will assist in the coaching of the Bromley Ladies team.”
The partnership will see Crystal Palace Ladies use the clubhouse facilities at Hayes Lane on a regular basis to hold events as well as hosting a flagship event at the new marquee upon completion.
“During the summer there will be a weekend tournament on the club’s 4G facilities to promote women’s football to the local community.
“With Palace looking to become a Women’s Super League side in two years’ time, it is an exciting time for both clubs to come together,” added the statement.
Meanwhile, Bromley’s Ladies’ side welcome Luton Town to Hayes Lane on Sunday morning, kicking off at 11:00.
The Ravenetts side opened their Greater London Women’s Football League campaign with a 4-3 win away to Hampstead last Sunday, courtesy of two goals apiece from Kirsty Higginson and Becky Bays.
Luton Town kicked off their campaign with a 3-2 home win over Hackney last Sunday.
