Lambeth-born Allen has previously played for Barnet, Kingstonian (loan), Redhill (loan), Wingate & Finchley (loan), Yeovil Town, Torquay United and Aldershot Town.

Smith told www.bromleyfc.tv: I’m delighted to have secured the signing of Iffy.  He impressed me greatly when we came up against Wrexham last season.  He’s quick, direct and has great feet.  I think he’ll excite the fans and contribute with goals along with plenty of assists.”

Allen added: “it’s great to have joined the club. It’s a new start, new surroundings and I’m looking forward to getting started and I can’t wait for the season to start.

“I’ve been very impressed with the manager and the direction that the club is going.  I want to be a part of it.  I want to play my part in bringing excitement to the pitch and I look forward to wearing the Bromley shirt this coming season.”

Bromley have also unveiled the signing of left-winger Luke Wanadio, 24, who has signed from Vanarama National League South third-placed finishers Dartford.

Smith said: “It’s fantastic to have Luke on board for the new season.  Luke played a big part in Dartford’s third-place finish last season contributing with plenty of goals.  He is very attack minded and I’m looking forward to him playing for our club.”

Wanadio, who left Dulwich Hamlet to sign for the Darts, added: “I’m very happy to be here.  I can’t wait to get started.  I want to get my head down, set up goals and get on the score sheet.

“I’ve had a good year and I want to improve on it for the new season so hopefully I can produce on the pitch and please the supporters.”

In a statement to www.dartfordfc.com, Dartford boss Tony Burman admitted that he couldn’t keep Wanadio at Princes Park.

“After a couple of meetings with Luke Wanadio, he has informed me that he will be leaving the club.

“Luke is very ambitious and wants to play at a higher level and be a full-time player.

“Although I am disappointed with his decision, I would like to thank him for all his efforts last season for Dartford Football Club.  We wish him all the best for the future.”
