The Hayes Lane outfit will be dining at non-league football’s top table for the first time in their 123 year history after Mark Goldberg led the club to their first league title since 1961.
Bromley picked up the Vanarama Conference South Fair Play Award first before officials went on stage to collect a cheque for £7,500 for winning the title and getting their hands back on the silverware.
Bromley also banked an additional bonus of around £7,000 from The FA Cup Pool – on top of last season’s FA Cup prize money - which is given to non-league club’s for reaching The FA Cup First Round.
Goldberg, who did not attend, scooped the Conference South manager-of-the-year award after guiding the club to 77 points from their 40 league games.
Central defender Rob Swaine and winger Anthony Cook were selected in the division’s Team of the Year, which was picked by the division’s 21 managers.
Jim Brown, who runs the club shop at Hayes Lane, has now seen Bromley win two titles in his life having witnessed the 4-2 home win over St Albans City in what was his first game on the terraces of his home-town club, which sealed the Isthmian League title on the last day of the season back in 1961.
Mr Brown, pictured holding the trophy above, said: “It was a great night in Newport for the Annual Congress dinner.
“Our lovely trophy was presented to us again and all the Bromley family went on the stage to receive it in front of over 600 people.
“A very proud moment for us all and it’s now finally sunk in what the club has actually achieved. Now I know we are champions!
“Fantastic also for our club to win the Fair Play Award and many congratulations for Mark Goldberg for the Conference South manager of the year.”
Bromley spent eight season’s in the Conference South and are now planning life in the rebranded Vanarama National League – formerly known as the Conference.
Goldberg has eighteen contracted players on the books and his first team squad will now train three mornings per week as they adapt to life in their new surroundings.
Midfield pair Lee Minshull, 29 and Max Porter, 27, have arrived from Newport County following their release from the League Two club, while defender Sean Francis, 24, has signed following his release from league rivals Dover Athletic.
Former Luton Town striker Alex Wall, 24, who spent a loan spell in the division for Dartford last season, has also signed.
And Bradley Goldberg, 21, who first played for Bromley in the youth ranks, has teamed up with his father again, following his release from League Two Dagenham & Redbridge, although he finished the season on loan for the Ravens.
Bromley open their pre-season campaign with a trip to Southern Counties East Football League Sevenoaks Town on Saturday 11 July 2015 (3pm).
The Ravens are now only two divisions below Millwall and the relegated League One outfit visit Hayes Lane on Tuesday 14 July.
Meanwhile, Barnet scooped £75,000 for winning the Vanarama Conference title last season.
