Huddersfield Town boss Danny Cowley recalls versatile Rarmani Edmonds-Green from his successful loan spell at Bromley
HUDDERSFIELD TOWN manager Danny Cowley has recalled the versatile Rarmani Edmonds-Green from his successful loan spell at Bromley.
The 20-year-old made nine appearances for the Hayes Lane club since joining on loan from the Championship club in October, playing in a number of positions.
Bromley manager Neil Smith told www.bromleyfc.tv: “He’s done brilliantly and I’d like to thank him for his efforts. This proves how well he’s done with us. His attitude is second to none. I’d ask him to play left-back, right-back, central midfield and central defence and he never questioned anything we wanted him to do.”
Edmonds-Green said on Twitter: “I would like to thank everyone at Bromley FC from the staff to my team mates and to the fans.
“I’ve enjoyed every single moment of it and I wish everyone at the club all the best for the rest of the season.”
Cowley, the former manager of Concord Rangers, Braintree Town and Lincoln City, has also recalled Demeaco Duhaney, Scott High and Ben Jackson from their loan spells at Boston United, Concord Rangers and Stockport County respectively.
Bromley, second in the Vanarama National League table with 41 points from their 24 league games, travel to third-from-bottom side Chesterfield tomorrow (15:00).
Smith’s men are three points adrift of leaders Barrow, who have a game in hand and he has signed former Ebbsfleet United defender Dave Winfield, 31, from Vanarama National League South side Chelmsford City today.
Smith said: "We spoke to David previously about coming on board, and for whatever reason, it didn’t happen. He’s someone I’ve monitored since then, and with what’s happened with Marc-Anthony and Rarmani, I needed to fill that void. David comes in having played at a good level for a while and has the experience we need.”
Centre-half Winfield will wear the number five shirt, vacated by Marc-Anthony Okoye, who was forced into retirement through a knee injury, last month.
