Brickies awarded abandoned cup tie

Sittingbourne's reserves have been awarded the abandoned Kent Intermediate Cup Quarter-Final tie against Ashford Town, reports www.sittingbournefc.co.uk

The match was abandoned by the referee in extra time with the score at 2-2 when Ashford Town went down to six men.

They had had four players sent off and one "injured". There is no appeal allowed to this decision.

Sittingbourne will now play their Gravesend & Northfleet counterparts at Bourne Park on Friday, 24th March (7:45pm).

The winners of that tie shall meet either Tonbridge Angels or Sevenoaks Town - who play eachother at Longmead Stadium on Saturday - in the final.
