The presentation ceremony rounded off the most successful year for Maidstone United Youth Development.
As well as five teams representing the club from age 13 to 18, it also introduced a youth development centre, after-school and community coaching sessions, and was a partner in the highly-successful Mini World Cup in which 256 primary school children took part.
Chairman of Maidstone United Paul Bowden-Brown said: “It has been an extremely successful season for our youth teams. Their success bodes well for the future of this club and hopefully some of our talented youngsters will make it into the first team. Our youth development work is bringing the club’s name into the community and introducing the Stones to a new generation.”
