Beckenham appoint new management team

Sunday 21st May 2006

Beckenham Town, who finished as runners up to Maidstone United in the Kentish Observer League, are pleased to announce the appointment of a new management team following the recent resignation of Gavin Rose.

The policy of selecting a “young” manager with a certain local knowledge is set to continue with the appointment of Jason Huntley.

Jason has for the last two seasons been manager of British Energy Kent County League side Stansfeld Oxford & Bermondsey Club, and brings with him a wealth of experience in finding young, exciting talent.

His assistant will be Paul Collins and his coach will be Dave Mehmet.

A club statement issued on www.beckenhamtownfc.co.uk said: “The club are delighted that the philosophy of playing attractive football will continue next season at Eden Park Avenue and are excited by the prospect of another challenge for league honours.”
