Ashford Town welcome youth team trialists

Ashford Town, who mathematically maintained their Ryman League status following their goalless draw at Ramsgate yesterday, a result that hands the Rams the division one title, are holding trials for next seasons U10/11/13/15/16 teams at Homelands Stadium on Sunday 7th May.

The club welcome players who fall in these age groups or exceptional players at U12/U14 level who feel they can make the step up.

The U10 and U11 teams will be competing in the Parker Steel East Kent Youth League while the U13/15/16 teams will be competing in the Kent Youth League.

 
“The club is looking to develop players who can go on to compete at reserve and first team level and already this season we have seen U15 players make their reserve team debuts” said Vince Shell, this season’s under fifteen’s manager.
 
Anyone who is interested should turn up at The Homelands Stadium, Ashford Road, Kingsnorth, Ashford Kent TN26 1NJ on Sunday 7th May U10/11/13 10:30-11:30 and U15/U16 11:30-12:30.
