Ashford give Peters a chance to impress

Ashford Town boss Steve Lovell has added to his squad, by bringing in former Hastings United midfielder Ryan Peters.

Peters, not to be mistaken with the current Margate defender, has been out of the game for a couple of seasons but has joined the Nuts and Bolts to prove his fitness.

"He is a quality player. He started on the books at Gillingham and had a successful stint at Hastings,” Lovell told www.ashfordtownfc.co.uk.

“After a while out of the game he is coming back and will play a couple of games in the reserve team to prove himself but I'm sure he will and it's another great acquisition."
