DARTFORD manager Tony Burman has issued his retained list following the club’s relegation from the top flight of non-league football.

The Darts finished their 46-match Skrill Premier campaign in the bottom three with 44 points and Burman’s side will return to Conference South next season after a couple of seasons in the Premier.

Goalkeeper Alan Julian, 31, has been released; striker Jason Prior, 25, has already put pen to paper on a deal to sign for big-spending Ryman Premier League side Margate, whilst former Bromley midfielder Ben Swallow, 24, has also exited Princes Park.

Burman told the club’s website www.dartfordfconline.com : “Obviously there are always going to be departures at this time of year and even though new terms have been offered to Alan Julian for next season, he has decided to accept an offer from another club.  With all due respect to Alan, it was an offer he couldn’t refuse.

“Jason Prior and Ben Swallow have been released, with Jason already finidng another club.

“Ben, who lives in Cardiff, wants to stay more local to his home town.

“I would like to thank all three players for their help last season and wish them all the best for the future.”

Burman has confirmed that five players from his squad have all signed new deals for next season.

He said: “I have spoken to the majority of players and I am pleased to confirm that Danny Harris, Ryan Hayes, Lee Burns, Lee Noble and Max Cornhill have all signed new deals for next season.

“I am still waiting for replies from other members of the squad as to their intentions for next season.
