Bromley sign Yeovil Town striker Courtney Duffus while Dartford boss Steve King snaps up Tower Hamlets talent Denilson Carvalho
BROMLEY manager Neil Smith has unveiled the signing of Yeovil Town striker Courtney Duffus for an undisclosed transfer fee.
The 25-year-old made 63 appearances for the Somerset based side, scoring 21 goals and his contract was due to expire at the end of the season and has made the switch to Hayes Lane.
“How quickly it has happened is unbelievable,” Smith told Bromley’s website.
“We’re an attacking side and he gives us another option up front. Hopefully, it puts a marker down on what we are trying to achieve over the next couple of years.”
Yeovil Town have beaten Bromley twice this season, winning 1-0 in extra-time in The FA Cup First Round and claiming their first league win in the Vanarama National League with a 2-1 win at Hayes Lane on 8 December when Duffus came off the bench in the final 14 minutes.
Maidstone United have today signed versatile defender Jaydn Mundle-Smith, 21, on loan from Premier League side Fulham until the end of the season.
Mundle-Smith has been with The Cottagers for eight years, progressing through the youth ranks to captain the clubs under 23s.
He spent time on loan at National League side Maidenhead United last season and can play anywhere across the defensive line.
Dartford manager Steve King has unveiled the arrival of former Welling United goalkeeper Daniel Wilks, 24, while former Huddersfield Town attacking midfielder Denilson Carvalho has signed for the Vanarama National League South club from Tower Hamlets, where he impressed in the Southern Counties East Football League Premier Division, scoring nine goals.
