Trio return for Bromley's trip to Essex

Despite Bromley's 1-0 win at Walton & Hersham on Tuesday night, boss George Wakeling wants more, reports www.bromleytimes.co.uk

While Wakeling was pleased to see his unbeaten side notch up their first win of the season, he believes they should now have maximum points.

"We should have six out of six," he said. "But what happened on Saturday (when Jamie Moralee equalised for Chelmsford City late into stoppage time) could have happened at Walton. In the last five minutes, they threw everything at us because they had nothing to lose.

"It was a hard working performance - we played better on Saturday and only drew - but we deserved the win.

"If I've one criticism over the two games it's that we've not put our chances away," he added.

Bromley head in to Saturday's tricky-looking visit to East Thurrock United with six players struggling. Adam Locke, Allan McLeod and Nic McDonnell should be fit for the trip to Essex but Colin Luckett, Gary Drewett and John Hinds remain medium-to-long term absentees.

Despite the ongoing curse of ailments Wakeling remains upbeat and there's no rest as the Ravens host Folkestone Invicta at the Courage Stadium on Monday (3pm).
