Bromley name new manager
After leaving Tonbridge Angels on Wednesday, Alan Walker has been appointed the new manager at ambitious Ryman League Division 1 South club Bromley, writes Stephen McCartney.

Bromley chairman Jerry Dolke said "Obviously we are delighted to appoint Alan Walker as the new Bromley manager. Judging by Alan's record in recent seasons at Fisher Athletic, Sittingbourne and particularly Tonbridge Angels this season I feel he is the man to really get to grips with our situatuion and take us onto a top 6 finish and progress us further next season."

Walker was due to travel to Saturday's game at Lewes to assess the strengths at the club, however the game was called off due to a waterlogged pitch. He will take over team affairs for the Boxing Day clash at home to Dulwich Hamlet.
