FA CUP FOURTH QUALIFYING ROUND DRAW

Bromley have been handed a massive incentive to win at Thurrock in Tuesday's FA Cup third qualifying round replay, writes Stephen McCartney.

Victory for Stuart McIntyre's side will see them host Nationwide Conference big-boys Dagenham & Redbridge at the Clive Christian Stadium, Hayes Lane on Saturday 24 October.

Bromley equalised in the fifth minute of stoppage time at the Clive Christian Stadium on Saturday, when former Fisher Athletic and Gravesend & Northfleet striker Leroy Huggins crashed a shot into the top right hand corner of the Thurrock net from six yards to equalise Paul Linger's 65th minute opener for Thurrock.

Both teams finished the game with ten men.  Bromley's South African defender, Steve Potterill was shown a red card by referee Andy Legg after 27 minutes for an attempted headbutt on Dave Collis.  The former Ford United defender was himself sent off with two minutes remaining for a second yellow card.

Meanwhile, a coach for Bromley's trip to Thurrock, departs outside Bromley's Hayes Lane home on Tuesday at 5.00pm.  The fare is £5.00

Welling United host Kent rivals Folkestone Invicta at Park View Road on Tuesday evening, following their 1-1 draw at Cheriton Road.

The winners of the replay will be at home to either Weston-super-Mare or Ryman League Division One North outfit Chesham United.

Maidstone United, the Kent League's sole survivors, will also be at home, to Gloucester City, if Jim Ward's men win at Ryman Premier Division side Bishop's Stortford in Tuesday's replay.

Our two Kent Nationwide Conference sides, who enter the competition in this round, are both away from home.  Margate travel to Grays Athletic, the only professional outfit in the Ryman League, and Gravesend & Northfleet travel to former Football League side Exeter City.
