Former Wycombe ace signs for Bromley

BROMLEY have completed the signing of Billy Harding from Nationwide Conference South neighbours Carshalton Athletic, writes Stephen McCartney.

Harding has been snapped up by former Robins' management team of George Wakeling and Billy Smith, who are now joint managers at Hayes Lane.

Harding spent several seasons with Wycombe Wanderers, working his way through the ranks from their under seventeen's to make his first team debut at the start of the 2003-04 season.

However, he was forced out of the professional game at the beginning of last season and signed for the Colston Avenue club in February 2004.

Wakeling's former club Hastings United, however, have seen an upturn of good fortunes following the appointment of Everton and Wales goalkeeping legend Neville Southall.
