Whealan signs for Thamesmead

THAMESMEAD Town are pleased to announce the signing of Danny Whealan from Maidstone United, writes Stephen McCartney.

Speaking about the signing, manager Paul Blade told the club's website: "It's another good signing for the club.

"Danny can play any where on the pitch.  He won the Kent League last year with Cray Wanderers and has great experience and will be a big asset to the club."

Blade is on the search for a striker ahead of Saturday's trip to local rivals Slade Green.
