Slade Green looking to end campaign with victory

Slade Green entertain bottom-of-the-table Sporting Bengal United at the Small Glen on Saturday for their final game of the Go Travel Kent League Premier Division season, writes Stephen McCartney.

Slade Green manager, Phil Miles, said: "Sporting Bengal have found it hard this year to adapt to life in the Kent League but I'm sure next season they will return stronger and for those teams that underestimated them may well be surprised.  We will need to be on our game otherwise we will become their second victims of the season.  We are in no great form ourselves after suffering nine straight defeats so Sporting Bengal will surely fancy their chances of winning.   I'm looking for the players to end the season on a high and with a victory, anything else will be bitterly disappointing."

Sporting Bengal United's only Go Travel Kent League victory of the season came at Culverden Stadium when they defeated Tunbridge Wells by four goals to nil.
