McCarthy returns to Slade Green

Paul McCarthy has rejoined Go Travel Kent League side Slade Green after playing a hand full of games for Dr Martens League Eastern Division side Chatham Town, writes Stephen McCartney.

Slade Green manager, Phil Miles said: "McCarthy left the club to play at a higher level with Chatham Town, this has unfortunately not worked out, but without sounding nasty, that is great news for us. I felt Macca was one of our better players before he went and left a big hole for someone to fill. I don't believe we have managed this so it will be great to have him back in the squad."
