Davies moves smartly to find new goalkeeper

Sevenoaks Town goalkeeper Darren Smart could miss the entire season due to ankle ligament injury, writes Stephen McCartney.

Smart sustained the injury in their game at Tunbridge Wells on Easter Monday.

And his specialist is very concerned as to why after all this time the injury still hasn't healed.

Smart has been told he must give it complete rest and will be having more physio and pain relief treatment.

After that he will need another scan and if they deem all to be ok, he will then have to strengthen his ankle up with excerise for at least two months.

The injury could rule him out for the entire Kentish Observer League season and manager Gary Davies is in the process of finding a replacement.
