Hythe Town seek revenge on Croydon management pair

The Reachfields club travel to Ryman League Division One South Croydon in the FA Cup Preliminary Round on 30 August.

Croydon’s management duo Mick Read and Dave Garland were in charge of Bromley when Hythe Town were beaten 1-0 in 2001, so Hythe Town will be looking for revenge when they travel to Croydon Sports Arena.

Hythe Town could face Thatcham Town, Selsey or Alton Town in the First Qualifying Round two weeks later.

Hythe travel to Sussex in the FA Vase Second Qualifying Round on 20 September when they face Three Bridges.

Three Bridges boss Simon Donnelly has signed three players from his former club, Southwick.

Striker Simon Funnell and midfielders, Danny Smith and Ben Millford are moving to Jubilee Field.  Three Bridges were rocked by a mass walkout of players towards the end of last season when management duo Mickey Taylor and Chick Bain departed.
