Little announced as new Dockers boss

Erith Town are pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Little as first team manager, writes Stephen McCartney.

Little joins the Dockers from Kentish Observer League rivals Slade Green, where he has held the position of first-team coach.

Erith chairman Albert Putnam told www.erithtownfc.co.uk: ""I'd like to welcome Peter to the club and wish him every success. He knows what our clubs is about and I'm sure he will work hard to help us achieve what we want."

Putnam also praised outgoing boss John Kasapi, who stepped down last week due to a persistent knee problem, and his coaching staff of Keith D'Urso and Bob Harrall who joined as a package from Greenwich Borough during the close season.

"John, Keith and Bob all gave everything to the cause and I want to place on record our thanks for their services," said Putnam.

"They were three terrific blokes and it was a pleasure working with them. It was unfortunate that John stepped down but we respect his decision and wish them all well in the future."
