Reserves title decider?

BECKENHAM Town's reserve side travels to Whitstable Town at The Belmont on Saturday in a game that could decide promotion out of the Go Travel Kent League Second Division, writes Stephen McCartney.

Whitstable are currently in second place with 31 points from 14 games whilst Beckenham's second string are in fourth place with 27 points from the same amount of games played.

League leaders, Bromley, however, have 34 points, having played two games more and are without a game as their home clash with VCD Athletic has been switched to Hayes Lane next Wednesday night.

Meanwhile, Beckenham's reserves were drawn at home to Slade Green in the first leg of the Kent League Reserve Division Cup semi-final.  If successful, they will face the winner of the other semi-final, with Bromley paired with Sevenoaks Town.  Games will be played next month.
