THE REAL DEAL -
BY TOMMY
SAMPSON
In the summer, we brought you "The
Real Deal" by Tommy Sampson.
Sampson, the current Dartford manager, revealed his own personal
account of events both humorous, controversial and at times sentimental
as he lead Deal Town to win the FA Vase in 2000.
Roly Graham's 87th minute goal saw Deal beat Chippenham Town 1-0 at
Wembley Stadium.
All 20 chapters, written by Sampson, can be read below.
Meanwhile, all eyes are on Deal Town again, to see if they can emulate
their success in 2000.
Derek Hares' side are the sole survivors from Kent and they make the
long trip to the North East to play Jarrow Roofing Bolden CA in the
fourth round next month.

GRAVESEND TRAVEL TO
GILLS
AEI Gravesend face a tough test this
Sunday when they travel to local rivals
Gillingham Ladies in the Kent Cup second round.
Gillingham Ladies play their football in the South East Combination division,
which is the league above AEI Gravesend, who compete in the South East
Counties premier division.
The match will be played at Cobdown Sports and Social Club, Maidstone,
kicking off at 1:00pm.
On the back of four straight wins for AEI Gravesend, they will go into the
North Kent derby clash as confident underdogs and will be looking to
cause an upset.
