Reports www.nonleaguedaily.com

Wayne Burnett, currently player/caretaker-manager of Dr Martens League Eastern Division club Fisher Athletic, has snapped up two new players with pedigree.

Former Republic of Ireland Youth and under-21 international goalkeeper Alex O’Reilly, has joined after being recently released by Nationwide Conference side Gravesend & Northfleet.

The 25-year-old played for West Ham, Bristol Rovers and Purfleet (Thurrock) before signing for 'Fleet last summer, but was deemed surplus to requirements by manager Andy Ford following the arrival of Charlie Mitten from Margate last week.

Burnett has also snapped up 20-year-old full back Ronnie Henry from Premiership Tottenham Hotspur.

Henry, the grandson of double-winning former England defender Ron Henry, was Spurs’ under-19 captain and was unused substitute for the first-team against Manchester United in September 2002.

He gained League experience towards the end of last season whilst on-loan at Third Division Southend United.
