Will packs his bags

FORMER Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper Will Packham has signed for Southern League Division One East promotion-chasers Fisher Athletic on a month’s loan from Ryman League Premier Division side Worthing, reports www.nonleaguedaily.com

Packham made two Football League appearances for the Seagulls in four seasons as a professional after starting out in Southampton’s Academy.

He then signed for Conference National side Farnborough Town during the summer of 2003.

He returned to the south coast by joining Worthing in December 2003 and was a regular in he side until earlier this season when the Rebels signed the experienced Mark Ormerod from Dorchester Town.

Fisher have signed Packham as cover for Jerome John.
