Ashford announce sponsorship deal

Ashford Town Football Club have announced Lipscombe Volvo are to be their main sponsors for the next two seasons, writes Stephen McCartney.

Lipscombe Volvo have been strong supporters of the Club by sponsoring the website and matchday programme for the last two years and are very pleased to have the opportunity to gain a higher profile as shirt sponsor.

The Homelands outfit will be maintaining its links with its previous sponsor Living Well who will continue to offer fitness training facilities at their high tech health club in Ashford.

Ashford Town Chief Executive Mark Jenner said: "I am was delighted to have such a well known name as Lipscombe Volvo as sponsor and look forward to a long relationship. Lipscombe have a fine reputation throughout Kent as a first rate Volvo dealer and were well known as supporters of Charlton Athletic in the past."

It was up to the team now to live up to the high standards set by Volvo as they undertake their first campaign in the Ryman Isthmian League after 45 years playing in the Southern League.
