Robbins appointed new reserve team boss at Ashford
RYMAN League Division One newcomers Ashford Town have appointed
Mike Robbins as their new reserve team manager/coach, writes Stephen
McCartney.
The 31-year-old is an UEFA B Licensed coach with league
coaching experience at Southampton and Gillingham and at non-league sides
Tonbridge Angels and Barnstaple Town.
Robbins, who moved to Ashford after leaving the Army last year,
said: "I am very excited about getting involved with Ashford Town, and
look forward to providing a stepping stone to the senior squad for the
talented youngsters at this friendly club."
He added: "Everyone has wished myself and this popular side the best of luck for the upcoming season."
The reserves will be playing their home Go Travel Kent League Division One matches at Homelands on Wednesday nights, kicking off at 7.45pm.

They begin their season with a trip to Thamesmead Town on
Saturday 21st August.
