Homelands has stamp of approval

ASHFORD Town are pleased to announce local company GB Approvals have become the new ground sponsors for The Homelands, which is the newest and best equipped football stadium in East Kent, writes Stephen McCartney.

GB Approvals are a dealer in stamps for stamp collectors nationwide with a strong brand and wide customer awareness.

Based in Ashford GB Approvals are looking to broaden their appeal as well as support the local club in a tangible way.

Having been followers of the club for some time this sponsorship is seen as a way of actively supporting the club in its aim of climbing the footballing ladder as well gaining valuable advertising through the club.

Advertising boards will shortly be in place at the Homelands which promote the companies website at www.gbapprovals.co.uk as well as prominence in the match day programme and club website.

Ashford Town's chief executive Mark Jenner said: "I am delighted with the new sponsorship from GB Approvals which gave further proof of the generous support which was available locally.

"Without such support it would be even more of a struggle to maintain professional football in the area."

Jonathan Gooding, the owner of GB Approvals added: "It is great to be able to put something back into the local community, whilst we can get our company website more familiar to people from all over the country.

"Ashford Town Football Club attracts supporters from far and wide and this is the main reason for supporting the club."
