Gills star on loan to 'Gate

DEAN BECKWITH has joined Nationwide South club Margate on a month's loan from Coca-Cola Championship side Gillingham.

Beckwith was on loan at Conference National side Dagenham & Redbridge during 2003-2004 and played against the 'Gate.

The 6' 3" centre back made five appearances and scored once for the Daggers.

Meanwhile, some good news for Mark Green, who was finally allowed out of hospital on Wednesday following his broken left leg.

Instead of relaxing at home, Green headed straight for the training ground to see his team-mates and manager Chris Kinnear.

Green, however, is very upbeat about his injury and looking to work as hard as possible on his rehabilitation.
