McKimm injury blow for Fleet

GRAVESEND & NORTHFLEET complete their grueling fixture schedule of four away games in eight days tonight, when they face the longest of the four at Exeter City tonight, writes Stephen McCartney.

The Devon side are only two points off the play-off's in the Nationwide Conference but a win for the Fleet will guarantee them fourteenth place.

Despite their hectic schedule Fleet boss Liam Daish is hoping there's a clean bill of health when the squad meet up.

"Well, I hope so, because I haven't got anyone else," he told BBC Radio Kent.

Daish revealed Steve McKimm won't play again for the rest of the season due to a knee injury.

"He has a knee injury and we'll get that sorted out as soon as possible and he can do his re-hab all over the summer and get himself ready for next year."

Justin Skinner, however, may feature in their last two league games.

"Well, hopefully Justin will but we are down to the real bare bones now."

There will be LIVE website commentary on BBC Radio Kent tonight
