WELLING UNITED boss Jamie Coyle has brought Joe Healy back to the club from Vanarama National League side Dover Athletic.

Healy, 30, can play in the middle of the park or on the left and will be remembered for scoring the Non-League Goal of the Season when playing for Welling United in a Conference game at Grimsby Town during the 2013-14 season.

Since leaving Park View Road, Healy has played for Maidstone United and Dover Athletic.

Coyle told www.wellingunited.com: “I am delighted to have signed Joe.  He is a local lad and is well liked by our supporters.  He has a lot of quality and will add strength to our team.

“Joe is one of the best midfielders at this level and he chose to come to us despite having had other offers.

“He has played at a higher level and won this League before.  I am excited to have signed him.”

Former Bromley striker, Bradley Goldberg, 23, has signed for the club, teaming up with his dad Mark, who owns Welling United and former Ravens midfielder Connor Dymond.

“I have been really impressed with Brad every time I have seen him when he has played against one of my teams,” said Coyle.

“In signing Brad we have signed a prolific scorer who is very good on the ball and he gives us lots of attacking options and he will be a good link between midfield and up front if he is in a deeper role.

“He can play off a big man up front, in the hole or out wide and is a proven goalscorer.

“He’s another who has played at a higher level and done well in this league.”

Goldberg is a former Conference South player-of-the-season, scoring 23 goals when Bromley won the Conference South title in April 2015 and scored 39 goals for the Hayes Lane club in several spells.

Meanwhile, central midfielder Lee Minshull, who like Goldberg left Bromley at the end of his contract, has signed for Isthmian League Premier Division side Leatherhead.

Welling United finished their 42-match campaign in sixteenth-place in the Vanarama National League South last season, collecting 43 points.
