Teacher Udberg, 24, was a key member of Cordice's backroom team as
the Lilywhites achieved promotion to the Kent League in their first
season.

But the ambitious
Christchurch College graduate has moved on in the
close season following successful talks with Brickies boss Steve Lovell.

Faversham Town manager Terry Cordice is disappointed to lose Udberg but
thrilled to see him step up a grade to the Ryman League outfit.

He said: "Rob's been a great asset to
Faversham Town and he'll be sorely missed at Salters Lane. He's a great student of the game and I wish him all the best at Sittingbourne.

"He'll always be welcome back. In fact our paths will cross sooner rather than later with us playing Bourne in the Bob Amor Cup at their place on 29th July."

Udberg sacrificed his own playing career in order to pursue his love of coaching although he still turns out for
Canterbury side Broomfield in the Premier Division of the Herne Bay and Whistable Sunday League.

Towards the end of last season Udberg split his time between
Faversham Town and Dover Athletic where he took a number of coaching sessions in his quest to win the prestigious UEFA A licence.
