Trott says as Margate manager but with a "slightly reduced" budget

Thursday 03rd May 2007

Margate Football Club are pleased to announce that it has now agreed terms for Robin Trott to remain at the club for next season.

“The new agreement will see Robin move away from playing in order to focus on the management of the squad,” said a club statement on their website www.margate-fc.com

“The board of directors have discussed with Robin his budget for next season, which has been slightly reduced due to our developers large investment in building the five-a-side centre.”

Once built, this centre will provide the Ryman Premier League club with a steady stream of income ensuring the club’s future.

However, due to the scale of their developers investment, the Gate will be unable to upgrade the pitch’s underground drainage this summer.

The Hartsdown Park club will discuss ways of preventing matches being called off next season with their groundsman.
