Bromley chairman Jerry Dolke admits hosting three reserve team games for their Championship neighbours Crystal Palace is “brilliant” for the Ryman Premier League club, writes Stephen McCartney.

The Eagles entertain Premiership sides Portsmouth next Wednesday, Fulham (Monday 7th February) and Tottenham Hotspur (April 4th) on the lush playing surface at Hayes Lane.

The club are currently undergoing ground improvements to their stadium, which was opened in 1938, with a new clubhouse currently being built at the back of the main stand.

An excellent playing surface was laid last summer with new floodlights installed twelve months earlier.

“All we’re trying to do is improve the facilities at the football club, for Bromley and for Cray Wanderers and whoever comes to our club,” said Dolke.

“The facilities we will have will take the club to a completely new level.”

Bromley travel to Staines Town on Saturday, before hosting Wealdstone in the quarter-finals of the Westview Cup on Tuesday, 21st February.

Then they play two league games at home, against Hampton & Richmond Borough(25th February) and Heybridge Swifts seven days later.
