BROMLEY Academy sides are on tour in Spain with the Bromley Whites and Bromley Yellows representing the club.

They began their trip by losing their two opening games to Mostoles FC.  This was then followed up by a training session at Real Madrid and a tour of the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium before playing two fixtures against Torrejonense.  Bromley Yellows fell to a 2-0 defeat, while Bromley Whites ran out 4-2 winners, courtesy of a brace from Liam Hughes and goals from Aiden Enver (who impressed for the first team in their final day win at Gateshead in the National League) and Dexter Lovely.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Ross Flitney, 33, who was released by Neil Smith at the end of last season, has re-signed for their National League rivals Eastleigh.

CRAY WANDERERS have lost the services of defender Jay Leader (Barking) and midfielder Sean Roberts (AFC Hornchurch).

DOVER ATHLETIC have signed Tobi Sho-Silva, 22, on a two-year contract.  The former Charlton Athletic striker scored 13 goals for their National League rivals Bromley last season.

EBBSFLEET UNITED have sold 600 season tickets ahead of the club’s return to the top flight of non-league football.

Commercial director Dave Archer told www.ebbsfleetunited.co.uk: “The sales this close season have thrilled myself and everyone at the club.  It’s been constantly busy progressing all the new applications and renewing existing season ticket holders and all the staff at the Fleet are very grateful for the continuing and expanding levels of support.”

Season ticket holders are invited to an open day at Stonebridge Road tomorrow (25 June) where they may reserve seats in the new main stand.

Seats will be available for booking in person between 10:00-14:00 on a first come, first served basis.  Anybody wishing to book their own seat must bring along their new season ticket card.  They will then be issued with a replacement reserved season ticket card in exchange.

The cost to reserve a seat is £23 (equivalent to £1 per National League game), payable when reserving a seat.

During the close season, seats have been allocated into blocks and individual seat numbers attached to them and season-ticket holders will be allocated a seat number based on their personal preference and availability. The seating blocks and numbering system will be explained and visible on the day.

MARGATE have agreed a deal with Maidstone United to sign left-back Tom Mills. 25.

Mills made almost 350 appearances for the Stones after being at the club for seven years but he left the club because he couldn’t commit to the morning training sessions next season.

After attracting interest from club’s in National South and Bostik Premier, Mills has opted to join several familiar faces at Hartsdown Park.

Maidstone United boss Jay Saunders told www.maidstoneunited.co.uk: “We all knew this moment was coming but it still seems slightly surreal to be talking about Millsy leaving the club.

“I was gutted he wasn’t able to take up the deal with ourselves but I am pleased for all parties that we were able to get this deal done.

“He’s been a massive part of everything we’ve achieved in recent years and those 340 appearances will take some beating.  I know everyone will join me in thanking him for all he did for the club and wishing him every success for the future.”

Margate boss Steven Watt has also signed central midfielder Lee Prescott, 29, from Bostik South side Cray Wanderers.

“I’ve seen Lee play a few times myself whilst I was at Hastings United and had a look at him last season after joining Margate,” Watt told www.margate-fc.co.uk

“He is a strong midfielder who will give us something different in the middle.

“He is an all-rounder and will get back and defend and also get forward and support the strikers and get some goals.”

PHOENIX SPORTS manager Steve O’Boyle has signed former Grays Athletic winger Lee Flavin, 26, and central defender Danny Young, who played for Greenwich Borough.

STANSFELD have appointed Jamie Phipps and Billy Hamlin to be in charge of their Southern Counties East Football League First Division side.  Meanwhile, their reserve side will be under the management of Mark Cray and Richard Longuet.

VCD ATHLETIC manager Keith McMahon has signed Joe Tennant, George Lutaaya and Emmanuel Osei.

WELLING UNITED have lost the services of striker Harry Crawford, who has signed for their Vanrama National League South rivals Hampton & Richmond Borough.  Goalkeeper Harry Girling, who spent time at Park View Road, while on loan from Millwall last season, signs for Bostik Premier side Leatherhead.
