Snodland Town begin work on clubhouse: This is a major step in the clubs history as it will make us totally self-contained within the ground, satisfying all Southern Counties East Football League requirements

SNODLAND TOWN have started work on their new changing rooms and hospitality facilities at their Paddlesworth Road base.

Planning permission was granted along with the stand, floodlights and perimeter fencing a few years ago, but it is only now, after achieving a grant from The Football Association and various donations and sponsorship from within the club and local community that the club have got to the position of building work commencing.

Club chairman Dave Jeal said: “This is a major step in the clubs history as it will make us totally self-contained within the ground, satisfying all Southern Counties East Football League requirements.

“It will also enable the club to move forward in its ambition to reach a higher level in the national football pyramid.

“This is a momentous step forward in the clubs history and my grateful thanks goes to those within the club who put in a great deal of time and effort to achieve this moment.

“Thanks must also go to several supporters of the club who have also given time or donations towards this project.”

The First Division club say that there is no completion date for the project after many years of designing and planning.
