It looks like we will finish in the top half of the table, which is slightly disappointing, admits Seven Acre & Sidcup boss Lee Hill

SEVEN ACRE & SIDCUP manager Lee Hill says he’s going into the unknown for tomorrow’s game at AC London.

The Acre travel to Banstead Athletic’s Merland Rise ground sitting in the top eight in the Pain & Glory Sports Kent Invicta League table, having won 17, drawn three and lost 13 of their league games.

AC London host Hill’s side sitting three places lower in the table.

“It’s the first time we have played them all season, so I don’t know a lot about them but they have had some good results of late so it should be a good game,” said Hill.

“After not playing for two weeks we entertained Bridon Ropes on Wednesday, who themselves have been on a good run and we won 3-0 with a brace from Magnus Orelaja and one from Josh Patrick.

“It was a good result for us. It looks like we will finish in the top half of the table, which is slightly disappointing.

“We have plans for next season, hopefully we will be in The FA Cup and Vase like last season, which always brings excitement to everyone who’s involved at our level of football.

“We have got a good group of players. We also have an excellent ground set up at Sporting Club Thamesmead but we need to push on next season. We are also on the lookout for club sponsors and volunteers, who can help take this growing club forward.”

Seven Acre & Sidcup have one of the most prolific front line in the Kent Invicta League with Patrick scoring 31 goals this season and big target-man Anthony Fenech chipping in with 26.
