RUSTHALL have appointed Lee Chambers to manage the clubs under 23 side next season.

Chambers was the reserve team manager in the Kent County League and has been promoted to manage the Southern Counties East Football League Development side at Jockey Farm Stadium.

“I am delighted to have accepted the offer of becoming the new under 23 manager,” said Chambers in a statement, following yesterday’s appointment.

“It is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the first team players and management team as we look to provide a clear pathway into first-team football and develop football for the whole club.”

Nick Martin has been appointed assistant manager of the side, while Mike Parker has joined the Jockey Farm Stadium outfit as coach.

Martin worked with Chambers in their first season as a reserve side back in 2018 where the club won the Kent Intermediate Cup and gained promotion to the Kent County League Division One Central & East.

Parker, meanwhile, has worked at first-team level at both Holmesdale and Erith & Belvedere.

Jimmy Anderson guided Rusthall to their highest ever finish in the ninth-tier of English football last season, as Rusthall finished in sixth-place in the Southern Counties East Football League Premier Division table, collecting 58 points from their 38 league outings.

Anderson’s first-team management structure remains the same.
