Rams welcome Lords to Southwood

Wednesday 18th January 2006

Ramsgate manager Jim Ward has arranged a mid-season friendly against Kentish Observer League side Lordswood.

The game next Monday, 23rd January, 7:45pm, sees the Rams take on Lordswood, a side currenly 8th place in the table and the only side to beat leaders Maidstone United in league action.

Ramsgate's victory at Lordswood last April meant Ward's side had secured the Kent League title.

The game at Southwood Stadium has been arranged to give some of the first team fringe players, including those returning from injury as well as new signings, a chance to get a good run out. It also provides a chance for the fans to get a better look at them.

Admission prices are: £3 (adults), £1 (concessions).  Season ticket holders get in free.
