Rams unveil Royston signing

RAMSGATE boss Jim Ward has tonight enticed central defender Ryan Royston away from Cray Wanderers, writes Stephen McCartney.

Royston, 27, had originally rejected a move to Ramsgate at the beginning of last season to opt for a move to Ryman League Division One South Cray Wanderers after clinching two titles with Maidstone United.

But Royston - and former Ebbsfleet United left-back Grant Duff - have been added to the Ramsgate squad for tomorrow’s trip to a Heybridge Swifts side that’s rock bottom in the Ryman Premier League table.

Meanwhile, Ramsgate secretary Mr Martin Able confirmed that the club have officially completed the signing of winger Byron Walker following last night's training session.  The former Chatham Town and Dover Athletic slender player arrives from Folkestone Invicta.
