Metrogas fully respects the decision to postpone their Kent Intermediate Challenge Shield Final date with Farnborough Old Boys Guild
The Kent Football Association has decided to postpone the Kent Intermediate Challenge Shield Final again.
Kent County League sides Metrogas and Farnborough Old Boys Guild were due to play the 2019-20 Final next Friday, 30 October on the 3G pitch at Chatham Town.
A Metrogas statement said: “Yet again, due to the on-going Covid-19 issues/restrictions, the Kent FA have taken the difficult decision to postpone our 2019-20 Intermediate Cup Final against Farnborough Old Boys Guild.
“Although this is a disappointment, the club fully respects the decision.
“With the current guidelines the Kent FA couldn’t offer the sort of final that both clubs, players’, managers and supporters deserve.
“The plan is for this to take place in April or May 2021.”
All other Kent Football Association Cup Finals that have been held over from last season have been postponed until further notice.
