McDonnell return is boost for Bromley

Friday 03rd February 2006
Bromley go to Stag Meadow tomorrow to take on Slough Town having lost the services of two of their most experienced players this week, reports www.bromleyfc.net
Veteran striker, Mark Tompkins has decided to leave the Club after losing his place in the starting line up to Adrian Stone, who had himself just completed a successful four weeks with Ashford Town before returning to Hayes Lane at the end of January.

Influential midfielder Adam Locke, who has been troubled by ankle and calf problems since having to be replaced in the first few minutes at Braintree Town on January 10th, has had an operation to repair a torn achilles. The surgery was a success but Adam's season has unfortunately been brought to a premature end.

More encouraging news saw Nic McDonnell and Danny Carroll come through a full training season last night at the Kent County Cricket facility in Beckenham and, barring any late reaction, both players will be involved against Slough Town tomorrow afternoon.
